Evensong and Reception

The St. Nicholas Choir and Schola Cantorum offered an Evensong pre-view of some of the repertoire which will be sung this coming week at Worcester Cathedral, England. The kids were stunning, being well prepared by Music Director Woosug Kang.

The church was filled with a large number of parishioners, proud parents, and members of the community who attended to hear the Evensong and to honor Woosug.

A reception followed the Evensong to honor Woosug, who leaves his post in mid-August after four years here in Tucson, to grow and start his new position of Director of Music Ministry at St. George's Episcopal Church in Nashville, Tennessee.

Good wishes and touching words were shared at the reception over a beautiful spread of food and drink, provided by members of the parish and the choristers. 

A high point of the reception was this plate of British themed, musical note cookies.
